Top Pinot Noirs From Round The World

Tuesday 13th November 2012; 6.30pm Provisionally full
Thursday 15th November 2012; 6.30pm

Such delicious, and good value, Pinot Noirs are now being made beyond Burgundy that they are well worth a closer look. In addition to Burgundy, notably fine sources for such Pinots are New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific North West (USA) and Germany. We will taste two wines from each of these areas, ranging in price, across the tasting, from £20 to £120 retail.

Blind Tasting I will serve the wines blind, not necessarily in the order below, for those who would like to taste blind, but there will be a crib for those who want to know what is in their glass. The point, in any case, is not to identify ‘what comes from where?’, rather ‘which of these do I really like?’, without prejudice. And once preferences are identified we can look in more detail at differences in style, and at value for money.

NB: When you book please indicate: BLIND or OPEN on the Booking Form.
